Your child is our priority

At Blossom Trees our key focuses are;

  • Creating a fun, safe and stimulating environment for children,

  • Planning activities within the nursery, that are fun and exciting, and that are appropriate for each and every child,

  • Establishing a strong partnership with parents, supporting and keeping their child’s learning as key at home and during nursery,

  • Following children’s routines from home,

  • Ensuring a close and secure bond with your child’s keyworker, providing activities that cover all the areas of development within the EYFS,

  • Employing staff who are friendly and have a professional attitude, and are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the children in their care.

  • To have a strong partnership with parents and encourage parents and carers to come into nursery to help, whether it being reading a story or cooking activity.

Here at Blossom Trees Nursery, we have a strong knowledge and understanding of children's needs and interests. Supporting and encouraging individual development, friendships and caring relationships, confidence and creativity are top priorities for us. Developing social interaction, understanding differences in others and learning about the world around us also plays an important role in our work. We also work hard to mirror your good work at home by following care plans set out by our parents. This provides the child with a continuation of care at home and at nursery and helps to settle your baby or child. IN our baby room daily care plans and rountines are followed with regulars to sleep, nappies, comforting techniques, signing, likes and dislikes.

Safeguarding

To ensure all children are protected from abuse and harm, and to promote their right to be strong, resilient and listened to Blossom Trees is committed to responding promptly and appropriately to all incidents or concerns of abuse and to work with the statutory agencies. We follow the Local Safeguarding Children’s Boards flowchart for referrals. These will be recorded in accordance with our Child Protection Procedures, Alison is the Safeguarding officer, and the policy is available for you to read outside the office door.
