A typical day at Blossom Trees Nursery

A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.

The daily routine at a glance

08:00 a.m. - 10:00am	Arrival (adult focused activities)
10:00am	Story/Circle Time followed by snack
10:00 - 11:30am	Indoor/Outdoor provision. Free play
11:30am	Letter and sounds activity, story/nursery rhyme singing time
11:45 - 12:30 p.m.	Lunch: Parents provide a packed lunch.
12:45 p.m	Sleep (younger rooms)
1.000 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.	Free play activities
3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.	Snack Time
3:30pm - 5:00pm	Free play
4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.	Dinner time. We offer tea if you wish for your child to eat before home time.
5:30 p.m.	Nursery closes

We provide Adult-focused activities for the children. With also free play with child -led activities.

Every third Tuesday in the month the children from the pre school room attend the local church, where they enjoy listening to a story, and joining in with songs.

Care Routines

We follow your child’s own routine at nursery, home from home. We ask if all children can provide a rucksack type bag with the following included:

Nappies, wipes & cream if used
Spare sets of clothing (especially if your child is potty training please provide plenty)
Food for your child throughout the day. Both hot and cold food can be given to your child while at nursery.
Water bottle - labelled
Any comforter or sleep aids
Waterproof coat, wellingtons and waterproof trousers or all in ones
Gloves & hat for cold weather
Sun hat and cream for hot weather

We have small blue beds and cots if your child still requires a sleep/rest during the day, they will have their own sheet and blanket.

Outside/Trips out

We absolutely love the outdoors and try to get out into the garden and for walks as much as possible.

We ask if you could pack your child with waterproofs and wellies for the winter months, and sun hat and named sun cream in the summer months.
